These terms govern your use of Kycaro's identity verification service at kycaro.com. By creating an account or submitting documents, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Kycaro verifies that a person is genuine and unique using government ID checks, biometric face matching and screening, combined with human review. We provide a verification outcome; we are not a government authority and do not issue identity documents.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.

Platform code

To submit documents you must enter the exact code provided by the platform that referred you. Submissions without a valid platform code are rejected. The code tells us which platform requested your verification.

Fees and payment

Verification requires a one-time fee, shown at checkout and charged through Paystack. Because verification involves real review work, fees are non-refundable once review has begun, except where the law requires otherwise.

Verification outcome

Payment covers the review of your submission; it does not guarantee approval. If your documents cannot be verified, your submission may be rejected and you may be asked to resubmit. When approved, you receive a unique result code that the referring platform can use to confirm your verification.

Acceptable use

Do not submit documents that are not yours or that you are not authorised to use.
Do not submit forged, altered or fraudulent documents.
Do not attempt to disrupt, probe or misuse the service or its APIs.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that verification will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accepted by any third party.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kycaro is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fee you paid for the verification in question.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or if we suspect fraud or unlawful use.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do.
